“ THE AUTHOR’S  HOPES FOR WEB SITE.”

I have given an insight to my ideology. It is forthright and will bring to my readers American politics from my point of view. What I hope to do with my web site is to disseminate my political views in the form of letters on subjects of political importance to all Americans. I have approximately 85 published letters that cover political issues over the past 14 years that give my conservative viewpoints. These I can share with my readers, in addition to some of my memoirs from my early days in the Army Air Corps. Also of my experience surviving the Japanese attack on military installations on the Island of Oahu, Territory of Hawaii, December 7, 1941. Commonly known as attack on "Pearl Harbor." I feel it's my right and indeed my duty, to speak out in this manner, as my contribution to having a stronger, more honest and effective United States Government to represent "we the people"! May God bless all that read my writings and "may God Bless the United States of America."

This Web site venture will be a non-profit endeavor. However, to prevent a total deficit bottom line, I will accept donations from interested persons, commensurate with costs for publishing, packaging and mailing my writings or letters. In this regard I will have available a copy of my published letters and other articles, in booklet form and visitors to my Web site may contact me for information or orders. Also by e-mail request to; ggpweb@aol.com

My intention is to have a monthly newsletter on this Web site, about a current issue that "we the people" face here in our beloved America and welcome comment and discussion about my opinions. With this first issue I am offering the following two articles of my early experiences in the Army Air Corps prior to WW2. Also copies of some current letters regarding issues we face here in America.

***THE FOLLOWING ARE MY SELECTION OF ARTICLES FOR THE WEB SITE OPENING.

“MY MEMORIES OF THE UNFOLDING AIR FORCE STORY AND IT'S EARLY GROWTH"

On April 20, 1997, I was reminded of my roll in the Early Air Force story when I noted it was the 50th anniversary of our United States Air Force (USAF). It took me back to some exciting experiences as a member of the Army Air Corps (AAC). I enlisted in October 1939 and arrived at Hickam Field, Territory of Hawaii before year's end. Later when the Army Air Force (AAF) was created in June 1941 the AAC was not abolished but my Squadron the 50th Reconnaissance of 11th Bomb Group became a part of the Hawaiian Air Force. An arm of the US Army, and consistently the "Army Air Forces" were used when any military events in Hawaii were being discussed or written about. In 1947 when the AAC and AAF became one and a separate and independent military branch it was designated the U. S. A. F. But enough details of the unfolding Air Force, and on to the first of my many memorable experiences.
