The
United States Airpower Museum respectfully requests support from
major corporate sponsorship, financial foundations and
volunteers interested in the recovery of extremely valuable
parts from a downed B-29 Superfortress aircraft located 250
miles north of Thule, Greenland on the arctic icecap. At this
time, there is only one B-29 presently flying in the world out
of approximately four thousand that were manufactured during
World War II.

STATES AIRPOWER MUSEUM
PROGRAM
The
United States Airpower Museum is a self-supporting, privately
financed, educational organization. It is an all-volunteer,
non-profit, 501-C3 tax exempt organization incorporated under
California laws for charitable and educational purpose.
Funds
to restore, maintain and operate aircraft come from the Members
Dues, Contributions and Aircraft sponsors. No state or federal
grants are received. All donations are tax deductible for
federal tax purposes. To enable the USAM to perpetuate this
collection, the support of all persons interested in the
preservation of aviation history is vitally needed.
UNITED
STATES AIR POWER MUSEUM OBJECTIVES
1.
To preserve, in flying condition, a complete collection of
combat aircraft which were flown by all military services of War
World II, Korea and Vietnam and other military encounters.
2.
To provide museum buildings for permanent protection and display
of these aircraft as a tribute to the thousands of men and women
who built, serviced and flew them.
3.
To perpetuate in the memory and hearts the spirit in which these
great planes were flown for the defense of their country.
4.
To establish an organization having the dedication, enthusiasm
and esprit de corps necessary to operate, maintain and preserve
these aircraft as symbols of
MEMBERSHIP
PROGRAM
The
only requisite for a United States Air Power Museum membership
is a sincere interest in the preservation of aircraft and the
story they tell. You need not be a pilot or military veteran.
The United States Air Power Museum is made up of men and women
from all walks of life and all trades and professions.
ANNUAL
MEMBERSHIP.
Annual
membership fee is $ 100.00. When you enroll as a member of the
United States Air Power Museum and you will receive a
certificate of Membership, Membership Card, Quarterly Newsletter
" FLIGHT LINE USA " and a official United States
Air Power Museum Patch.
AIRCRAFT
SPONSOR PROGRAM
Any
individual, company or organization may assume full sponsorship
of a aircraft if they wish. Any individual or organization may
also donate flyable aircraft, components, parts or museum
artifacts and receive a tax deduction. All maintenance fund
contributions are also tax deductible.
Cost
of sponsorship ranges from $ 5,000 up. A list of aircraft which
are available and cost of sponsorship may be obtained by request
to USAM headquarters.
